Lancaster Comics Convention a roaring success.30 October 2006 This Saturday's Comic Convention held in Lancaster's Ashton Memorial in Williamson Park was Wizards Keep's first such event, and the venue was highly subscribed by the general public. It was great to see so many families with children along there. There was a lot to see and despite a rather wet start to the day the visitors were undeterred by the inclement weather. Sales for Wizards Keep were great and already plans are being made to attend further such conventions based on this successful event. There were some new and some up and coming products on show and this garnered a lot of interest and there was a lot of interest also in the existing Sketch Books, Giclee Prints, and the new poster. The stand had at its centre a large format Giclee print of "On The Run" and the poster version too. Also on sale was some of Tim's original artwork from his time in the comic industry. The most common question asked of Tim was: "When is the graphic novel coming out?" For the benefit of all those that asked and all those unable to attend but still wondering: Tim is about to start work on the graphic novel once more and plans to have it ready sometime during mid to late 2007. The project is around a quarter of the way along at the pencil stage and once complete he will start to paint it in Photoshop. The poster gives a guide to the look of the new book when it is finished. Keep looking here on the news pages to see more sneak previews of it. Tim would like to thank everyone that took time out to come along and chat to him and especially the folks that made purchases too. He enjoyed the talks and is over the moon with the response to the Wizards Keep product range. We will be creating a new photo gallery here soon and putting up some photos taken at the convention amongst others. There will be news here also soon regarding the next convention that Wizards Keep will be attending...
