Wartime Artwork.10 June 2007 Tim is often asked whether his parent's draw as well, and if they are an influence on his artwork. Well we have already seen his Mum's Yakky Doodle artwork and now Tim's Dad has uncovered this very early drawing, which was on the back of a letter sent out to his Dad (Tim's Grandpa) whilst serving in the British army in France during World War II. Tim would like to share this with everyone. In it we can see a Spitfire flying over the camp and in the foreground we can see a horse and it's rider amongst some trees. This is a wonderful piece of nostalgia and perhaps a glimpse of things to come, perhaps... Tim would like to take this opportunity to thank his Dad once again for finding this and allowing him to share it here. Wartime drawing - Artwork by Tim's Dad |
